Liberty Somerset Garden EPP Quilt Kit

The Somerset Garden Quilt has been designed by Suzanne Campion for Liberty Fabrics.

This stunning English Paper Piecing design features fabrics from the Liberty Heirloom 1 collection along with additional pieces from the Wiltshire Shadow and Emily Belle ranges.

This keepsake project is the ultimate project for EPP lovers and will take pride of place in your house.

Each kit includes almost 3000 papers and templates along with fabric to complete the quilt top and binding. Each kit comes in one of our lovely mini suitcases.

The finished size of the quilt is 70" x 80"

Suzanne Campion describes the quilt as follows -

Taking the precise symmetry of a formal garden and combining it with the classic Grandmother's Flower 
Garden EPP quilt pattern, I have created a rich and ornate pattern where every block is a story of its own and each lead to another discovery via the diamond pathway. 
A series of hexagon gardens each contains fussycut flowers, while the central focus of this beautifully detailed 
quilt is a star of diamond blocks, leading to larger hexagon blocks; each block can be different, or you can 
repeat two or three of the designs. 
I still use a needle case made by my own Grandma in the Grandmother’s Flower Garden pattern, and I have 
designed this pattern so you can create your own sampler heirloom based on a traditional pattern but full of 
your own unique character. It really is a project to take your time over, to enjoy the peaceful process of hand 
sewing, each stitch a labour of love to pass down the generations.
